Following an
arrangement with the Ardanaisaig Hotel (AA 2 Rosettes) we can
now offer a very special day out for visitors to the railway
carriage. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or other
celebrations, and it's all on your own doorstep !
The day starts as you are
collected by your own private boat from Loch Awe pier (adjacent
to the carriage) and sail over to the hotel (about 12 minutes)
for a delicious lunch. After your meal walk round the famous
gardens and stroll along the loch side, before taking the boat
back to Loch Awe. For a small additional charge take the boat
on the outward journey over to Kilchurn castle to explore the
romantic ruins.
